Curriculum Links

OzAsia Festival offers many opportunities to link to the Australian Curriculum for F-10 and Senior Secondary Students, particularly for the Cross-Curriculum Priority of ‘Asia and Australia’s Engagement with Asia.’ Other links include The Arts, Languages, English, HASS, Technologies, Science, Mathematics, Intercultural Understanding, and Critical & Creative Thinking.

Teachers – Professional Learning

A number of diverse Professional Learning opportunities are available to teachers before and during OzAsia Festival. These are connected to in-theatre performances, the Jaipur Literature Festival, Moon Lantern Parade and exhibitions, and are offered as briefings, forums, or workshops.

OzAsia Festival will also host an Educator Briefing event when the program is launched. Sign up to the centrED mailing list to make sure you’re on the teacher invite list here.

Teachers – for your students

Interested in bringing your class to see an OzAsia Festival performance or exhibition? The festival program can include matinees, free workshops, curator talks, JLF writer sessions and more that are specifically designed for school groups. In addition, a discount school group ticket price is available for selected performances.

The OzAsia Festival program is released in July/August. Sign up to the centrED mailing list to receive updates for teachers here.
