After a national call-out, the OzAsia Festival Moving Image program features winning submissions by local and international artists.
The series will include GUI SHU (Belong) by Steamworks Arts, a visual story from the laneways, malls and teeming streets of Taipei, to the bushscapes and suburbia of Australia, revealing how culture shapes and transforms us.
Restless Dance Theatre will also present a new work in collaboration with Light Sound Friends, Seoul Street Arts Festival and Dialogue Six Strings that explores how we respond to space.
Kawita Vatanajyankur’s work Knit will showcase a powerful examination of the continuing exploitation of women’s everyday labour in Thailand.
