Director Kirsten Tan
2016

Dejected Bangkok architect Thana’s career is literally being torn down by the next generation. With his marriage also in crisis, he’s amazed to find his old family elephant in the street and sets about returning him to his uncle’s northern farm.

A funny and sharply observed road movie about trying to go back, only to discover that the past is always moving on.

Winner, Best Screenplay, Sundance, 2017.
